Screening for NIPT in South Delhi

Yet another area that Dr. Chintan specializes in is the facility she has set up for the NIPT screening. NIPT is a screening that detects conditions such as Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome, and Patau syndrome, as well as certain sex chromosome abnormalities.

The test involves the analyzing cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from the fetus that is flowing in the blood of the mother. Dr. Chintan helps the parents overcome the stress involved in the NIPT screening and the possible complications that the high-risk pregnancies can have.
